Syncing frustrations

I sync my N900 to my Macbook (contacts using iSync) and Google (calendar -
using Erminig).

Both of them does not work properly. Although I have several calendars
marked in Erminig to sync, some of the calendars are just ignored.

iSync is causing more problems. After the latest iSync some of the contacts
on my phone just disappeared although they are on the Macbook. I could so
far not find a way to put them back by using iSync. I have tried to use
certain groups of contacts to see whether that makes a difference, but have
had no luck so far.

I am beginning to think of the N900 as a nice handheld computer but a bad
PDA and cellphone.

Although I think Erminig is a great idea, it is only half finished.

If you have 15USD available, I highly recommend nuevasync.com. I use
it to sync my google apps calendars (and I have several).
