how to store the app's state in Gconf

I can always see some values about the setting of an application in
GConf. But there is no trace left in the app's source code.

So there in lies the problem, what I want to know is how did the master
(such as the author of rss-feed-reader) manage to do it?

Any morsels of wisdom, every one?

Developer questions should perhaps go to maemo-developers :-)

There is a lot of Documentation on maemo.org
http://maemo.org/development/documentation/

Good start is tutorial
http://maemo.org/development/documentation/tutorials/
and training material
http://maemo.org/development/training/

Gconf is described in training - maemo Application Development

http://maemo.org/maemo_training_material/maemo4.x/html/maemo_Application_Development/Chapter_04_Support_Libraries.html#UsingGConf
