Wlan Chip

Hi,
I'm very new to this discussion. Can some tell me which wlan-Chip will be in
the 770.

It's an unannounced Prism-based Conexant 802.11b/g
chip. It doesn't
support 802.11a.

The 770 comes with a Conexant SoftMAC WLAN chip:

will the driver feature the monitor mode (so that kismet can be used on
it ?)

Hi Raphael,

Monitor mode is not part of the 770 product specification, so it probably
won't make it to the first software version. I want to run Kismet on that
beast as well, so monitor mode is on my TODO list (somewhere at the bootom
though...)
