How to set common toolbar to all Hildon Windows

I've seen a couple of references to "set_common_toolbar" under Hildon,
but it doesn't appear to exist for the maemo tools from what I can see.

I have an application that consists of 6 windows - only one displaying
at a time, but I'd like to have a common toolbar for all windows. Does
anyone know if this is possible, if so, how, and where I'd find the API
reference for it?
Thank you.

I found it under Hildon Program. Don't know how I missed that before.

Another noob question: Switching windows under the hildon framework -
how is that normally handled?
With standard (non-Hildon) gtk windows, I'd hide the ancestor window of
the calling widget, and show the window I wanted to display next, like
this:

After changing it all over to use Hildon Windows, I can only display the
original Hildon window. I get "gdkdrawable-x11.c:878 drawable is not a
pixmap or window" and while my research into that message generally says
it's not an issue, it is, because my next window will not draw (or more
correctly, isn't recognized as a drawable)
