Lost serial console

Lost serial console

Hello,

after flashing our development board with the w18 image and after this with the
development root filesystem from SDK 0.12 release i don't have a serial console
anymore. I have a getty rumming on ttyS0, but the only thing i see on serial
console is the message "Uncompressing Linux..."
How do i get back serial console?

Hi,

Use --enable-rd-mode flasher options to turn in on.
By default device is in so-called production mode with console output disabled.

Pay attention to the -enable-usb-host-mode option please. It can also be useful in some cases.
For example if you want to use usb devices like usb ethernet adapter or any other.
