Migrating to Community-driven Infrastructure

There is a discussion taking place on TMO [1] regarding the transition to Community-driven Infrastructure once Nokia remove their funding. The instigator of the thread, Wonko, has also created a wiki page [2] "intended as a central place where information about this can be gathered."

Being aware that there are members of the community who are averse to using the forums, but who may be interested in the topic at hand, I take this opportunity to remind/notify them of the forum email integration feature which allows one to "create new posts, get notified of new posts/replies, as well as post replies to posts that you receive via email."[3]

This discussion will shape the future of maemo.org, and it's important that all of the various segments of the community participate.

Regards,
Ritesh Patel

Thanks a lot, Ritesh. It's very good idea to post it here. It's
refreshing to see, that most people still think about important
matters just ahead of us.
