VS: Maemo 5 apps to maemo.org frontpage

Why aren't the default links to Maemo5 allready? I bet OS2008 users
know better how to change the page to show OS2008 software only, N900
brings lots of new people to the pages I think. So it would be better
pr to have M5 apps at default, not OS2008.

Sorry, I typed the wrong address...

Hi, what about having Maemo 5 apps shown by default at http://maemo.org and
http://maemo.org/downloads ? Most users going to maemo.org expect most probably
to find that now that the N900 starts selling.

Also the Downloads search doesn't work for Maemo 5 apps. i don't know if the
problem is that the entries are not indexes or what. The results usually refer
to OS2008.

Isn't that what Quim's asking for? In Niels' absence, I guess it is
something Ferenc can do?

Cheers,

Andrew

It would be nice to show OS2008 downloads to people browsing from OS2008 and
Maemo 5 to people browsing from Maemo 5 and so on...

Thanks Ferenc,

I was aware of the question asked here, I wasn't aware that maemo.org already
was redirecting based on the user agent header.

It is like that already. We do recognize browsers based on the UA header
they send. The question here is to show the Maemo5 apps when you surf
with a non-Maemo browser.

I am testing the changes on internal and deploy it to maemo.org asap.
