What are the available 3G operator in Amsterdam?

Hi all,

I was thinking about Internet connectivity when we'll be in Amsterdam
for the summit. At the summit place I think we'll have wifi, but in
the Hotel, even if the internet connection will be available, it won't
be cheap.

Here in Spain I've a Simyo SIM and it's very very cheap for 3G
connectivity. I've seen that Simyo is available in Amsterdam too, the
only problem is that they don't have phisical shops, they only sells
online and... I cannot tell them to ship my SIM in Amsterdam.... it
would arrive when I will leave the city :(

So... any other option to suggest me?

nice to meet you Antonio :)

I hope you'll able to come to the Summit.

I don't think there will be so many italians (I suppose me, Aniello
del Sorbo, Antonio Aloisio(?), ecc...).

I asked about cheap 3G operator I can buy a SIM from, and start using
it because I'll need it only for 3-4 days and usually Hotel wifi is
not so cheap :( (In Berlin I payed about 27€ for 7 days connection and
I only used it for 4 days).

See ya soon!

Sorry I didn't reply to this earlier.

In the Netherlands there are quite a few operators. Mainly, the ones I
remember are the usual bunch: Vodafone (http://www.vodafone.nl/),
Orange, now called Online (http://www.online.nl/), T-Mobile
(http://www.t-mobile.nl/Persoonlijk/htdocs/page/homepage.aspx) and KPN
Mobile (http://www.kpn.com/).

I would suggest either calling a branch for tariffs, or entering a
shop when in the country, and ask for prices. Most people will speak
English, so just ask for a pay and go 3G contract, or a normal Pay and
Go card, that supports 3G.

However, talk to your local network first to see what their prices are
for your data usage while abroad (roaming), as it may be more
interesting than buying a SIM card + Pay and Go.
