[maemo2midgard] Urgent help needed: App Catalog style is broken on IE

Hello,

We urgently need some help regarding the CSS of the Application
Catalog (http://test.maemo.org/applications). It is seriously broken
with IE.

Could please someone volunteer and check what could be done within a day or two?

Did somebody already take a stab at this? Otherwise I will look into this.

Ferenc: I committed some fixes to the application search box php files,
can you update test.maemo.org with those?

Cheers Niels, i updated the style already (including your fix for the
frontpage as well).

The major headache we have with IE is application catalog related. See
this link for instance in IE 6 and you will know what I mean:
http://test.maemo.org/applications/desktop-environment/

It works great on other browsers, including the tablets.

Would be great if we could fix this asap and cheer up some MS lovers/users :P

Thanks. You missed the commit for the searchbox though.

On the application pages a div with class="main" isn't closed. It is
started in style-init.php, so I committed a style-finish.php to close it.
It looks like it is done like that in other modules too.

I'll have a look at the rest of the IE problems..
