[lvs-users] SNMP

Hi,

I tried to install Net-SNMP-LVS-Module to monitor my LVS servers.
I've followed the instructions from the url http://kb.linuxvirtualserver.org/wiki/Net-SNMP-LVS-Module but it does not seem to work properly:

snmpwalk -c public -v 1 -m LVS-MIB localhost 1.3.6.1.4.1.8225.4711
LVS-MIB::lvsVersion.0 = STRING: "0.0.0"
LVS-MIB::lvsNumServices.0 = INTEGER: 0
LVS-MIB::lvsHashTableSize.0 = INTEGER: 0

I tried on two different servers and i have the same result.

Could you help me please?

Not many people are using it. If you'll look in the
archives, you'll see postings in Feb 2008 and Sep 2007 where
people have it working. You might e-mail Malcolm and
Michael and see if they have any ideas. If you find a fix,
let us know.

If you just need monitoring, Salvatore Tepedino has an
rrdtool set of scripts (in the HOWTO).

Hi Bill,

Did you ever find a solution to your issue? I just recently gave SNMP a try
for the first time and am getting the exact same result that you reported.
