[lvs-users] NAT aftar NAT

Hello,

I have a question about configuring LVS.

First, let me describe what I would like to get as a result. My LVS
cluster should be behind a firewall that NATs all incoming/outgoing
traffic. The LVS director and servers are configured according to
http://www.linuxvirtualserver.org/VS-NAT.html setup. So, will the LVS work
when two NATs are used: (1) NAT at firewall computer and (2) NAT at LVS
director?

I would be very grateful if you could clarify this question to me and
forward to the relevant documentation.

Thanks in advance.

I presume the firewall will be NAT'ing incoming connections
to $outside_ip:$outside_port to $VIP:port (and the reverse
on the way out). If this is so, then the LVS director won't
know that there is a NAT firewall between it and the
clients, in which case your setup will work.
