[lvs-users] BUG? Sending HUP to keepalived in master state

Keepalived is in MASTER state
Configuration file specifies BACKUP state

Send HUP to keepalived

keepalived transitions to BACKUP state (Which is inconvenient, I'd rather if it was master it would just stay master, but that's not the bug)

keepalived does NOT remove the VIP from the interface. This mungs up the cluster, cause now something else is master, but both machines have VIP on the interface.

I haven't used keepalived for ages...

is the VIP removed by a down script? if so is it working?
(I expect you would have already tried this if it were true,
so I don't expect I'm much help here.)
