How to temporarily disable all HA mechanism without stopping Pacemaker ?

Hi,

I would like to disable any stop/start/monitoring on the whole HA
cluster in one crm command
(or other command) and to enable all again later.

I noticed there was a is-managed atttribute at the cluster level, but it
seems deprecated (and I
read that it disable any start or stop, but I'm not sure about
monitoring ...)

Another way to do it ?

Thanks
Alain

I just found the parameter "maintenance-mode", seems to be the right thing ?

And by the way, if maintenance-mode=false, does it also disable
stonith ?
Thanks

You mean "maintenance-mode=true"?
No. That is controlled by the stonith-enabled option.

Hi,

yes I was wondering, as when maintenance-mode=true" all my stonith resources
become "not managed" (in crm_mon) , I was wondering if it disable any
stonith possibility,
but you're right, "not managed" means only no start, no stop, no
monitor, but resource
is still running and can stonith a node. So ok, I 've also used
stonith-enabled="false"
together with maintenance-mode="true".
Thanks
