OpenSER and LinuxHA

hello
We would like to have 2 OpenSER servers in an active/passive configuration.
But the server that is active has to have several IPs instead of 1 floating
IP. When the backup/passive server takes over it has to acquire those N IPs.
Is that possible with heartbeat?

So, it is 1 service [SIP proxy, UDP PORT 5060] that needs the failover but
that service is listening in N IPs instead of 1 IP. Those IPs are virtual
IPs, to start we plan to use about 20 IPs.

thank you in advance

Fabian

I don't see why you couldn't create a resource group with several IPaddr resources in it.

Hi,

we're using the same scenario with ~20 opensips. each with it's own IP
we're running everything as an active/active cluster. IP traffic is
routed via BGP, so we don't have any startup delay :)
