It's always good, in case of a resource problem, to do this first:

# grep lrmd.*myrsc /var/log/mylog

/me keeps repeating that, but we should eventually write a
troubleshooting guide. Who knows, perhaps somebody would read it :)

Thanks,

Re: ocfs2 oracle resource issue [In reply to]

Sorry I am a newbie with HA and OCFS, My config looks ok, it's just that when I try to failover (put 1 node in standby) the file system stays mounted on the active system but the resource (oracle) will not come up. It keeps thinking that the OCFS resource is down :

Nov 5 15:20:33 lnxhat2 kernel: Node lnxhat1 is down in group 18F774F6A0B148A79CB7C33A891CC7E6

When I activate the node again all resources become available and oracle comes up on the original node.
Any idea on how to debug this problem ?

It's always good, in case of a resource problem, to do this first:

# grep lrmd.*myrsc /var/log/mylog

/me keeps repeating that, but we should eventually write a
troubleshooting guide. Who knows, perhaps somebody would read it :)

Thanks,
