DRBD refusing to start

Hi all

I am running the latest version of Heartbeat heartbeat-2.99.2-8.1.i386.rpm
on a Fedora Core 11 system,

I have tried to import my config from a Fedora 9 system but it seems unable
to start my DRBD Device (DRBD installed and tests good)

as far as I can see the config is the exact same on both systems.

and I have bee using the following command to generate the DRBD resources

*crm configure primitive DRBD_Resource ocf:heartbeat:drbd params
drbd_resource=Storage1 op monitor role=Master interval=59s timeout=30s op
monitor role=Slave interval=60s timeout=30s *

crm resources start DRBD_Resouce does not generate any errors and there is
nothing to speak of in ha-log
help me I am lost on this one!

Jay

Have you been able to start and initate DRBd manually? Integration into the
cluster only works after manual initialization.

What version of DRBD are you using? It seems that DRBD-8.3 does not work
together with the DRBD RA of heartbeat.

8.3 is also supported in the latest code, but the change is
relatively recent. You could still download just the RA from the
repository and it should work.

Sorry about that, know the feeling.

Re: DRBD refusing to start [In reply to]

Hi Dejan

the build was only for documentation purposes. so I have left in the old
DRBD that works, and will review in 6 months or so

Thanks for the feedback, nothing worse than thinking that you have gone mad
or a bit stupid!
