What version are you trying to compile?

Have you contacted the author?

What Does Greg Freemyer have to say? ;-)

He is not going to do a port in a visible future.

Alan,

You guys have been making so much progress with heartbeat recently that my
porting efforts have gotten out of date.

In particular, the netlib package was not required when I last tried.

I'm certainly willing to offer Eugene advice as problems pop up.

PS, I've been doing mostly SuSE Linux stuff recently, so I guess I'm becoming a
Linux convert.

Well, we've been making a lot of smoke and dust and noise. Sometimes we
make progress too ;-)

That's all I was hoping for. I figured that you were a great guy for that!
