evms_activate resource

Hi everyone....

I'm currently working on a two node, running Sles10 Sp1. My
question lies in the configuration of I "believe" the EvmsSCC
resource. In order for my ocfs2 volumes to mount on boot, I need
evms_activate to run. Everything I've been able to come up with so
far, points to this resource. Am I on the right track here? Anyone
have a similar configuration? If so, how do you have this resource
configured?

I've done many searches, and much reading has been put into this.
I'm just pieces away from completion, but need a little direction.
Any help offered is much appreciated.

Thanks!

Well EvmsSCC has nothing to do with OCFS2, it just ensures that evms
devices are created for the CRM node member at reboot. In short: runs
evms_activate on your behalf...

You could probably work the evms side out from this:

And there are other OCFS2 related coolsolutions...

TA,
Ivan

Thanks Ivan. That was exactly what I was looking for. And of course
I know evms has nothing to do with ocfs2, but I do have ocfs file
systems on evms maintained volumes, hence the reason for needing
evms_activate to be run on boot. Twas just the last little piece I
was lacking.

Much appreciated for the point in the right direction!
