That sounds good Sebastian, I'm only really using heartbeat really
simply... so this sounds like a good way around it!

Thanks a million.

Seabastian, now I have another problem (lack of knowledge on my part!)

When I type:

cibadmin -Q -o resources

I get:

<resources>
<primitive class="ocf" type="IPaddr2" provider="heartbeat"
id="virtual_ip">
<instance_attributes id="virtual_ip_instance_attrs">
<attributes>
<nvpair id="8ed71fe6-b7f1-40f2-b7c5-697fdf38b9b5" name="ip"
value="192.168.1.74"/>
</attributes>
</instance_attributes>
</primitive>
</resources>

How would I add another virtual ip address using cibadmin?

Presumably I'd use the modify (-M) switch? How do I generate the unique
nvpair id?

Regards

John

Invent some. They just have to be unique.

Thanks,
