setting remote-clear-port not working?

setting remote-clear-port not working?

Hi,

I'm tryig to get remote cib access working using
http://www.clusterlabs.org/doc/en-US/Pacemaker/1.1/html/Pacemaker_Explained/ch-advanced-options.html
and http://www.mail-archive.com/pacemaker [at] oss/msg02373.html thread..
however I'm already having trouble with the first step - setting remote-clear-port:
cibadmin -c --modify -X '<cib remote-clear-port="6900"/>'

checking with cibadmin shows the option to be set:
[root [at] vmnci2 /]# cibadmin -Q | grep remote
<cib epoch="13" num_updates="25" admin_epoch="0" validate-with="pacemaker-1.2" crm_feature_set="3.0.5" update-origin="vmnci20" update-client="cibadmin" cib-last-written="Wed Jul 11 11:44:34 2012" have-quorum="0" dc-uuid="vmnci20" remote-clear-port="6900">

after the restart, the options is missing again though and nobody's listening on 6900..
is this functionality still supported?
I'm using pacemaker-1.1.6 on centos6...

you mean of the cluster stack?
that should have done the trick.

definitely supported. i'd have to look into it to find out if/why its
not working.
