HB 3, /usr/lib/ocf/resource.d/heartbeat/.ocf-* file permissions ...

Downloaded from the http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/server:/ha-clustering/SLES_10 repository, resource-agents-1.0-31.4.i586.rpm installs:

.ocf-binaries
.ocf-directories
.ocf-returncodes
.ocf-shellfuncs

... with a '-rw-r--r--' file permission mask.

Shouldn't these files be 'x' executable as well, if they are to be invoked by other RA's ?

Joey

Joe,

these are not invoked by other RAs, merely sourced. Thus they shouldn't
need the x bit. If you have evidence to the contrary, please let us know.

Best regards,
Florian

In fact, executing them is pointless, since then they won't be in the
environment, and adding to the environment is all they do ;-)
