heartbeat.spec file in dev repository

Hello-

I recently have built the rpm packages for Redhat on CentOS 5.2 from the
dev repository. In the process I found several issues with the
hearbeat.spec file. It does not correlate to the current repository in
several places.

1.) The heartbeat.spec file references the heartbeat.suse.in,
ldirectord.suse.in, and heartbeat.rpmlintrc files which do not appear to
be in the repository.

2.) The changelog indicates that the quorumd, plugins/quorumd and
quorumdtest where removed because they are legacy code but they still
exist in the repository so the install file required check fails.

3.) The source file for heartbeat is listed as heartbeat.tar.gz, but the
file generated by the Makefile target includes the version number.
Maybe a hearbeat.spec.in file should be created to customise it to the
current build?

I am planning on setting up a nightly pull and rpm build from the dev
tree to keep my test cluster up to date on the most recent changes and
bugs. Is there a better place for me to report issues I find? Please
let me know if there is such a place.

Thank you,
Davin Flatten

Thanks for reporting this. I'll see how we can fix that.

No. This is the right place for all issues related to heartbeat
development.

Cheers,
