HVR-1600 SD quality on LCD
|
|
I am using Mythdora 10.22. I recently upgraded from a 42" SD tv to a 46" LCD. I use an Explorer 4250 from Cablevision connected to the HVR-1600. Essentially SD is pretty fuzzy with this setup. DVD playback is clear. I verified my recording and live tv profiles are set to 720x480. I tried upping bitrates to 6000 and 7000, but this did not seem to help. 03:00.0 Multimedia video controller: Conexant CX23418 Single-Chip MPEG-2 Encoder with Integrated Analog Video/Broadcast Audio Decoder Subsystem: Hauppauge computer works Inc.
