pvr 250 firmware problem.

I am using ML 2010. Kernel desktop 2.6.31.5.

Ivtv does not work in dmesg I get the following error:

vtv0: Registered device video0 for encoder MPG (4096 kB)
ivtv0: Registered device video32 for encoder YUV (2048 kB)
ivtv0: Registered device vbi0 for encoder VBI (1024 kB)
ivtv0: Registered device video24 for encoder PCM (320 kB)
ivtv0: Initialized card: Hauppauge WinTV PVR-250
ivtv: End initialization
ivtv 0000:04:07.0: firmware: requesting v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw
ivtv0: Unable to open firmware v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw (must be 376836 bytes)
ivtv0: Did you put the firmware in the hotplug firmware directory?
ivtv0: Retry loading firmware

ivtv0: Failed to initialize on minor 3
ivtv0: Failed to initialize on minor 1
ivtv0: Failed to initialize on minor 0
ivtv0: Failed to initialize on minor 2

A file search for v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw showed it in
dev/.udev/firmware-missing 0B inaccessible.

I tried to install the plf firmware and got the following error:

file /lib/firmware/v4l-cx25840.fw from install of
ivtv-firmware-20080701-1plf2009.0.noarch conflicts with file from
package kernel-firmware-extra-20090723-1mnb2.noarch

Suggestions greatly appreciated.

Gary
