Hi Rick,
Yes, I got it to work. It was messy, partially because I didn't know at first what I was doing. I followed this website pretty closely: http://www.blushingpenguin.com/mark/blog/?p=24. It's about the PVR-150, but the steps actually ended up working for me. One problem I had was having some old lirc installation hanging around. So, I would advise you to get rid of any old lirc installation before you start. I think I also edited some of the source files so that it would install, but I have to look around exactly what I did.
