You might want to give it a try. Make sure you've got no duplicate modules (tuner.ko, tveeprom.ko etc..) which might interfere. IVTV (for now) has it's own version of these modules. The kernel-version might not support the tuner of your card. Do a modinfo tuner and check the path; if it's /lib/modules/<kernel-version>/ivtv/tuner.ko, then you're using the correct module. If it points to /lib/modules/<kernel-version>/drivers/media/video/tuner.ko then you are using the kernel-version which might be unsupported. Also have a look at your firmware; Hans recommends 2 versions. You can find them on the wiki at ivtvdriver.org. N.
