CX18 - using tuner get ioctl buffer errors, using Composite get no sound and juddery picture
|
|
Latest position from testing the CX18 is : Note: I am only running as root to quick fix some "can't write to file errors" Input from camera via Composite 1 ================================= Picture plays but judders, no sound. I think mplayer may be re-sizing the images which is causing the judder. I will read the manual to try and work out how to stop the re-sizing root [at] ace:/home/brian# v4l2-ctl -i2 Video input set to 2 (Composite 1) root [at] ace:/home/brian# mplayer -cache 8192 /dev/video0 MPlayer 1.0rc2-4.2.3 (C) 2000-2007 MPlayer Team CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU T5500 @ 1.66GHz (Family: 6, Model: 15, Stepping: 6) CPUflags: MMX: 1 MMX2: 1 3DNow: 0 3DNow2: 0 SSE: 1 SSE2: 1 Compiled with runtime CPU detection. mplayer: could not open config files /root/.lircrc and /etc/lirc//lircrc mplayer: No such file or directory Failed to read LIRC config file ~/.lircrc.
