Figured out that the sync/interlacing problems were all in my head so to speak. Played the same video on windows and it was perfect. I'm blaming media player at this point. oi.. John, did you ever figure out if the iTVC15 does the scaling, or if the digitizer takes care of that? I have a few minor tweaks to my init values, then i'll start working on some PAL settings, as well as the saa7115 driver-proper. right now it just writes a bunch of arrays to registers. It needs to take commands, etc. If any one is video saavy (or not i suppose) and wants to try their hand at setting up the decoder for PAL, i'd be MORE than happy to offload that :) Preferably that person should live where PAL is the video standard. Since it's starting to become an issue, I'll make sure i have the tuner code in by thursday night. Also on the plan somewhere is detecting the itvc16 (encode only) chip and setting up the driver for that. Oh and for anyone testing.. if you want to reduce the amount of traffic to your kernel logs, use the debug= option.. debug=1 is errors only.. see if you're dropping frames, etc.. -tmk __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
