Multi Channel Intergration: Ebay Amazon etc

I am curious what methods cart owners are using to manage multi-channel partners such as ebay and amazon integrating inventories and order processing with POS systems. I have seen the eBay and Amazon API/SDK's but I was hoping to not have to reinvent the wheel managing new xml specs etc. I have looked into products like channeladvisor, thub, webgility. All are limited in different ways. What I was hoping to find was an maturity open source alternative to using my own ebay,amazon.tags. Does anyone have any input advise?
