BounceReferrals causing "Infinite redirection loop"

BounceReferrals causing "Infinite redirection loop"

Whenever I have BounceReferrals set to Yes, my external monitor
reports intermittent "Infinite redirection loop" errors. I'm on
nightly build V5.5.2-200710280658. Was there a problem with
BounceReferrals that was cleared up after 10/28/2007?

I should also mention that my external monitor is checking
http://www.example.com without any query string.
