Unable To Upload / Import BIG files

Text products file bigger then 12MB cannot be imported or uploaded after upgraded to the latest version 5.5.2. Both import and upload took forever until the apache returned an error (Internal Server error). Neither apache or interchange’s error log contained traceable information for the error. Tested on both cgi scrip and interchange::link with the same result. All required perl modules were upgraded to the latest version. The server is running centos 5.1 64 bit with perl 5.8.8. everything working fine before the upgrade. Please if someone has clues of the problem or a fix of the problem. Thank you.
