missing entries in libgcrypt NEWS

I just noticed that the NEWS file (even in latest svn) is missing many
entries from stable follow-on releases (e.g., 1.2.4), which makes it
harder to search for when some new features were added.

Do you mean

* Rewrote gcry_mpi_rshift to allow arbitrary shift counts.

from 1.2.3? On a quick check I can't find many other noteworthy items.
Almost all changes are listed in the NEWS for 1.3.0 - that one is
newer than 1.2.4.

No. I mean that in the current trunk (r1418) there are no NEWS entries
for version 1.2.1, 1.2.2, 1.2.3, or 1.2.4 at all. There are entries for
1.2.0 but then there is bump to 1.3.0 directly. I suspect you branches
1.2.x after 1.2.0 but then forgot about forward-porting the 1.2.x NEWS
entries back to the trunk NEWS file after releases.
