Unable to compile libassuan-git

Hello,

I'm trying to maintain as much as I can the ArchLinux AUR package for
GnuPG2-git. To build the latest version libassuan>2.1 and ntph are
mandatory. Building ntph was an easy one but I'm getting an error with
libassuan-git. Can someone give me a hint?

Thanks
alphazo

The snapshots need:

./configure --enable-maintainer-mode

to build version.texi.

Actually autogen.sh prints that info. This reminds me to rename
README.SVN to README.GIT.

Re: Unable to compile libassuan-git [In reply to]

Thanks. I should have remembered that one.

gnupg2-git is now up and running in ArchLinux AUR. Situation is kind
of messy now since Arch has completely removed gnupg1 from the core
repository considering that only gnupg2 should be there (/usr/bin/gpg
is now a symbolic link to gpg2). Obviously they didn't realize that
side effects happen when switching to gnupg2 only (psi passpharse
caching, encrypted LUKS+gnupg system not booting....).

Bug reports are always welcome to our tracker. Strangely none have been
submitted for these things, neither during the two weeks when this
switch was implemented in [testing] nor after it moved to [core].

For my use case, the switch was seamless...
