firefox 0.9.3 new windows slow start ?

When I click on link that opening new window on firefox 0.9.3 it takes around 20-30 sec to open
and the CPU goes to 100% usage... anyone having similar problems ?

There is no problem with power of the computer ... Celeron 2Ghz [at] 2 , 1.5 GB RAM, kernel 2.6.5, prelinked

Is there some way to find the reason for this slowdown... it happens only in this situation.
Ctrl+N takes 5-10sec.

When I switched to Firefox it seemed much more snappy than Mozilla, now not so !!?

I do not have that problem. Both CTRL+N and right-click on a link then
open in new window work instantaneously. I'm on
mozilla-firefox-0.9.3-r1. Have you tried this upgrade?

I had a problem with editing bookmarks, and that was cured by the
upgrade to 0.9.3-r1. I also had a problem with the 0.9.3 binary from
mozilla (quite unstable, but I can't remember the specifics) that was
cured by compiling 0.9.3 from source.
