ibook g3 wpa woes

Hi there Guys,

I would love to know why my Ibook G3 with default airport card cannot
connect to WPA protected networks.
Is this because the airport card I have just doesn't support WPA?
Someone told me that it supports wpa but not wpa2 - can anyone confirm
this?

Kind regards,

Stu

That's the reason. This old card supports only WEP128.

Hi Lars,

I got the DWL-G122 USb stick working under the new 2.6.24 kernel - the
drivers in the kernel did the real magic. My ibook connects to any wireless
network you can throw at it now! Thanks for for input - much appreciated.

Kind regards,

Stuart
