Intel Mac development

Hi all,

I was wondering what the status is with this. After reading the page at

http://gentoo-wiki.com/Portage-prefix

I was able to get gentoo installed on my intel iMac. I only had to
change one line in the bootstrap-prefix.sh to get it to work. In
bootstrap_gcc, I changed:

make ${MAKEOPTS} bootstrap-lean || exit 1

to

make ${MAKEOPTS} || exit 1

Without this I got binary compare errors.

So, I was wondering if it is time to start creating bugs for adding
x86-macos USE flags, or if some other approach is being taken.

Also, is it, or will it soon, be possible to use "emerge sync" from a
prefixed gentoo?

Thanks a lot,

Chris
