updated portage today. that seemed to go fine. (I emerged portage with collision-protect disabled as recommended here the other day). now nothing will update. it just downloads the distfiles, then terminates. here's a session: quasar:/etc root# emerge -puDv system These are the packages that I would merge, in order: Calculating system dependencies ...done!
