/etc/make.conf -> /etc/portage/make.conf

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

A quick grep of the tree:

grep -R "/etc/make.conf" /usr/portage/*/*/*.ebuild

Shows many many ebuilds are still referencing /etc/make.conf instead of
the new location which is /etc/portage/make.conf

Even some eclasses are still doing it:

grep -R "/etc/make.conf" /usr/portage/eclass/*.eclass

Although /etc/make.conf is still supported, the preferred location is
now /etc/portage/make.conf.

Therefore, I am volunteering to migrate these references to the now
preferred location.

If this is acceptable, say nothing, if you want to complain, do so. If
you want me to not do this to your packages for some unknown reason
speak now and be ridiculed.

Thanks,
Zero_Chaos

Quick suggestion. Grep for /etc/portage/make.conf as well, and eliminate
the files that show up in both lists. Untested:

grep -R /etc/make.conf "/usr/portage/*/*/*.ebuild" | \
grep -v /etc/make.conf

Because the fix is often to check both locations, so a grep for only the
old one will list a lot of the already fixed stuff too. But if a file
shows a hit for both, then it's either already fixed, or at least
someone's aware of and working on the problem.

they're all user-facing messages. just drop the path and say "make.conf". if
they can't figure that out, then they can run `man make.conf`.
