Switch MTA problem

Hi

I Install exim 4.70 and start exim service. but "alternatives --config mta"
return only this"

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Selection Command
-----------------------------------------------
*+ 1 /usr/sbin/sendmail.sendmail
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

In "/usr/sbin" i check exim:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
# ls -l exim
# lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 25 Nov 18 18:31 exim -> /usr/exim/bin/exim-4.70-1
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

how can i switch to exim MTA?

This is an OS packaging issue.

Presumably this is on Fedora or similar? Did you install from an rpm? [.If you did not install from rpm then I would be expect you to have to do a lot of manual fiddling to make alternatives work].

Best to raise a bug report through the distributions preferred reporting mechanism.
