If there's no existing authentication section in your config file,
you'll need to add one. It starts with 'begin authenticators'. The
Exim docs will help.

It's nothing to do with Exim versions, and all to do with what you've
already got configured, which the DynDNS folks can't know.

The 'Exim Configuration Editor' isn't something produced by the Exim
project, you'll need to consult whoever provides it. Is it part of a
control panel product, perhaps?

My previous advice relates to the core Exim product.

Yes, specifically the WHM part of the cPanel control panel (cpanel.net).

Then you need to ask for support for that product (which I guess
you're paying money for). Your problem is with how cPanel is managing
your Exim configuration, not with Exim itself.
