truncate incoming bounce msgs

Hello,

How could I truncate incoming bounce msgs on exim?

I tried bounce_return_size_limit but obviously this
truncates bounce msgs generated only by exim running
on localhost, not incoming DSNs (for example).

Should I use, for example, transport_filter and do
whatever I want with the msg's body? Is there any
other way?

Any ideas?

Thanks
Ilias

Yep

Exim itself doesn't meddle with message content (DSN or otherwise).
Hence you need to write something yourself - which I suspect would as you
say be integrated as a transport_filter.

If might be possible to generate a new message in the system filter, and
throw away the original. You might lose some information, though.
