SA at SMTP time *and* at maildir delivery (with different settings)?

Hello all,
I'm running SA-exim at smtp time, but I'm also using virtual exim to do
management on my different email domains. SA has generic settings while
SA-exim runs it at SMTP time, but virtual exim also allows custom settings
on a per mailbox basis...however that part is not happening. Can anyone
offer some advice about how I can set this up, do I possibly have to run two
SA daemons or two Exim daemons?
