Hi,
exim4 chokes when an empty command line argument is passed:
$ exim -bd '' ''
exim: incompatible command-line options or arguments
$
This makes constructs like
exim -bd "$SMTPLISTENEROPTIONS"
harder to do in distribution init scripts when the options are empty.
