Export problem

Hello,

I am new to the list so my apologies if I am repeating a question
already asked.

I just installed 0.99.0, using WinPcap 3.1. I am running this under XP
SP2. I have also tried on on another system also running XP SP2.

When I save a capture file I have no problem. However, I need to export
it to do some additional analysis. When I try this, regardless of file
type and regardless of location, I get the error message:

The path to the file "" doesn't exist.

I have tried several types of names and even tried to c:\temp as was
suggested in one post I did find. Has anybody heard of this? Is there a
workaround? If I can't get the data exported then I'm at a dead-end.

Thanks,

Jeff

Re: Export problem [In reply to]

Hi,

This one is so old it has grown a beard.
See the bug database http://bugs.ethereal.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1009
See the Wiki http://wiki.ethereal.com/KnownBugs

So, better come over to Wireshark and all this goes away.

Thanx,
Jaap
