AR&T IT Contribution

Hi,

I'm working in MBDA Applied Research and Technologies department. We
intensively use the Paralle Virtual Machine (PVM) Middleware in our
distributed computing and in order to capture exchanged data, we have
developed an Ethereal module able to capture PVM packet. Moreover, this
module is also able to make some statistics.

Our developed Ethereal Plugin is designed to be strongly user-oriented.For
example, users can choose whether to perform reassembling or not so as to
prevent the system from undergoing a computationally expensive operation, if
not wanted. As far as the Statistics Manager unit is concerned, its core has
been designed to be improved in several ways: one is to develop more
sophisticated graphic stats, such as graphs.

We will be happy to submit our plugin to the Ethereal projet in order to be
included in next relases.

I'm waiting for your suggestions.

Best Regards.

Christian

Ethereal developement has moved to wireshark.org, same people
different name, essentially same application. New lists, new website,
and obviously a new svn reposotory.

The best way to submit a change is to post a diff against the current
svn ($ svn diff ) revision to wireshark-dev [at] wireshark .

Luis
