randpkt questions

randpkt questions

I am attempting to troubleshoot an issue at work. I was wondering if
randpkt actually sends the packets it generates (i.e. I can tell randpkt
to send the packets to a particular IP address) or if they are only in
Ethereal. If they can be sent to a specific target then I need to know
how to activate randpkt. I am using the 0.99.0 release for Windows.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

randpkt will "only" generate a capture file, but won't send anything on
the line.
