Active/Active iSCSI setup

Hello everyone,

We are planning to implement the Active/Active iSCSI setup:
http://www.linbit.com/fileadmin/tech-guides/ha-iscsi.pdf

The plan is to have 2 VG, 2 iSCSI target, with 2 Virtual IPs, with 2
Servers.
In order to load balance, we are planning to make one primary Server per
iSCSI target, that is:

Server01:
iSCSI target 01: Primary
iSCSI target 02: Secondary

Server01
iSCSI target 01: Secondary
iSCSI target 02: Primary

It seems that on the refered guide, both targets are active on the same
server.

Is it right?
This configuration sounds reasonable?

Thanks in advance,
Pedro Mazzoni

... which clearly does not apply to the Tech Guide he's been reading.

Pedro, your approach is sound. Please follow the guide you already
have. The configuration with each node hosting one iSCSI target portal
group, and no DRBD dual-Primary being involved, is fine.

Cheers,
Florian

Thanks Florian!

But I didn't saw on the configuration guide where I set that each VG will
be hosted primarily on different servers.

Thanks in advance,
Pedro Mazzoni

Use location constraints, as explained here:
