What would you expect, how would this work on administrative level (you cannot > employ somebody in Austria as long as there is no branch office here, I think), > etc... Well, I work from home, with only a few problems. We have several people that work from home, because it's cheaper than moving us to San Francisco, where the cost of living is unbelievable; as an example, one guy, Mark Saye, told me he was looking at a 2 bed, 1 bath, 1 car condominium (like a flat, but you buy it, as well as pay a monthly building maintenance fee) that originally listed at 360,000USD but sold for 630,000USD!!! Ouch! The thing is, we could use you now - there's more work than we have people, so we could employ you now, and then move you later, when your girlfriend is ready to go. I understand about working from home being boring - right out of school I found it very nice to work with others in my field of study, but after a while, they'd come to my office and sit... for hours. I got no work done, so I think working from home is nice, but there are times when I wish I could walk down the hall and talk to someone about an idea I have. Anyway, I'll keep you posted on the job front. Cheers, Dan -- Dan Yocum, Sr. Linux Consultant Linuxcare, Inc. 630.697.8066 tel yocum [at] example, http://www.linuxcare.com Linuxcare.
