FATAL: Module drbd not found.

Hi
I have installed drbd on a Redhat 5 server kernel version 2.6.18-164.6.1.el5PAE
I unpacked the tar file in /usr/src
Cd to /usr/src/drbd-8.3.6/drbd
Ran make clean all
Then make install.
Created /etc/drbd.conf
But when I try to start drbd I and error
FATAL: Module drbd not found.
Have I missed a step.
