f11 resource-agents conflicts with drbd...

f11 resource-agents conflicts with drbd...

Hello,
I'm now on F11 x86_64 with drbd-8.3.3rc3-3.x86_64 rpm generated by sources
with "make rpm" command.
Version of resource-agents, provided by Fedora, is now
resource-agents-3.0.0-12.fc11.noarch

Trying do do an update, I'm getting this:

Finished Transaction Test

Transaction Check Error:
file /usr/share/cluster/drbd.metadata from install of
resource-agents-3.0.3-1.fc11.noarch conflicts with file from package
drbd-8.3.3rc3-3.x86_64
file /usr/share/cluster/drbd.sh from install of
resource-agents-3.0.3-1.fc11.noarch conflicts with file from package
drbd-8.3.3rc3-3.x86_64

Error Summary
-------------

Do I have to notify to fedora or drbd?
How to proceed in the mean time?

I noticed that also with drbd-8.3.4 sources, a make rpm command generates
package that contains the conflicting file /usr/share/cluster/drbd.metadata

Gianluca,

DRBD packaging is currently undergoing a big makeover. The relevant
changes aren't merged into our main code branch yet. Until then, please
be patient. You don't need to notify anyone; all the relevant people are
well informed.

Ok,
in the mean time I made the following:

- yum update -x resource-agents
cd under the rpm build dir from drbd-8.3.4 source
- rpm -Uvh drbd-8.3.4-3.x86_64.rpm
drbd-km-2.6.30.8_64.fc11.x86_64-8.3.4-3.x86_64.rpm
- manually download resource-agents-3.0.3-1.fc11.noarch.rpm
- rpm -Uvh --force resource-agents-3.0.3-1.fc11.noarch.rpm

btw: drbd-8.3.4 created rpm and this latest resource-agents package contain
the same version of
/usr/share/cluster/drbd.metadata
and
/usr/share/cluster/drbd.sh
so at the moment no big deal...
